The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is a forthcoming role-playing game and a follow-up to Before Assassins of Kings was formally announced, a video presentation the game was leak on 16 September 2009. On September 18, 2009, CD Project RED officially long-established that the game is in expose for PC. While the game is being published by CD Project itself in Central Europe and Digital Distribution sites, distribution in North America will be handled by Atari. Publisher for West Europe will be NAMCO BANDAI.
The game past has been scheduled for release on May 17, 2011 for the PC. The developers have hinted that there could be some possibility of a console release after the game is released first for the PC, but for now the game is strictly a PC title. The game will also be released simultaneously on Good Old Games and Impulse without any DRM in the game.
